Family Dispute Ends With Gun Shots in Cheboygan County

A family dispute ended with a shot fired in Cheboygan County.

Deputies say a woman got into a disagreement with a relative on Monday at a home in Inverness Township.

Elizabeth Siudara got a .22 rifle and pointed it at the family member in the garage.

The family member was able to run into the house and lock the door connected to the garage leaving Siudara in the garage area.

Police say Siudara then shot at the door to the home.

Officers later found the rifle and arrested Siudara for assault with a dangerous weapon, which a 4 year felony, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and reckless use of a firearm, both are 90 day misdemeanors.

Bond was set at $50,000.
